Between 22nd - 25th November Escape2Poland Company and Auschwitz Museum is organising History Teacher Training on Holocaust and WWII. The workshop is going to be held in Oswiecim and will gather 26 British/English-speaking teachers and educators from different parts of UK.

The first edition of this non-profit educational project was organised in October last year and met with a huge enthusiasm from all the participants which motivated us to repeat it this Nov

The purpose of the project is to provide the participants with profound knowledge of the Auschwitz Concentration Camp. Not only does it aim at broadening their theoretical knowledge , but also improving practical teaching skills with the emphasis on educating young people in the subject of Holocaust, World War II events and Nazi concentration camps.

The training is going to take 4 days including 2 days at Auschwitz Museum. The schedule includes meeting with an Auschwitz Survivor, specialist study tours, series of lectures, workshops and film screenings conducted by museum historians, experienced teachers and Escape2Poland employees. The structure of the workshop has been highly appreciated by former participants, as a survey carried out after the last year's course confirms. On a scale of 1 to 5, it has scored the average 4,9. On completion of the course all participants will be given certificates.
