Applications are welcome in five categories: Archives and Libraries, Education, Museums, Research, and Restoration. More details about the priorities in each category are on the website.
The Foundation operates a two stage application process. The first stage is a short form asking for basic organisational data, a description of your project and a preliminary budget. Based on our assessment of the first stage application, you will either be invited to submit a more detailed second stage application form, or you will be advised that your application has been unsuccessful. The name of the Foundation has been changed from Rothschild Foundation (Europe) to Rothschild Foundation (Hanadiv) Europe. It is still the same Foundation presided over by Lord Rothschild and its foci currently remain Academic Jewish Studies and Jewish Heritage.
